Her target: Allure—the manipulator who turns hearts into weapons and minds into shields. The mission was simple—extract information, stay detached. But when Allure turns an entire room of civilians into living puppets, Ember finds herself trapped inside a charade of influence and control.

Then comes the crash. Gilgamesh—the immovable, the machine immune to Allure’s whispers—steps through the glass like a god through smoke. The illusion breaks, and so does Allure’s confidence. But as Ember turns away, one truth cuts deeper than the shards beneath her boots: She didn’t win through power… she won by becoming what she swore to fight.
