Disruptor

The Broken Frequency

superhero-disruptor

Disruptor—real name Alicia—is power wrapped in paradox. A former engineer turned weapon, she became the embodiment of interference: elegant, unpredictable, and devastatingly precise. Aligned with Zallum’s Originalis faction, her ability to manipulate and collapse electrical systems makes her both a shield and a saboteur. But beneath the storm of magnetics and voltage lies a fractured humanity she struggles to keep intact. In “Electronic Warfare,” she dismantles Clipper’s cybernetics with ease, not out of cruelty but out of exhaustion—tired of being hunted, studied, used. Her control isn’t just over technology; it’s over dependency itself. When she looks at the Augmentum, she sees her own reflection—humans losing themselves to machinery, to cause, to command. In “The Veiled Offer,” we glimpse her loyalty tested. When a Trillionaire offers her freedom and her imprisoned brother’s release, her fury shatters circuits and illusions alike. It is rage born not of rebellion, but of betrayal.

Zallum values her as a weapon. She, however, craves autonomy. Every act of resistance, every surge of power, is a demand to be seen as human again. Her alignment tilts toward the Originalis, but not their ideology—she fights for choice, not conquest.

Alicia’s ambition is painfully simple: to free her brother and herself from the systems—Augmentum, Zallum, Sanctuary—that define their lives. Her purpose is unmaking control itself. She is The Broken Frequency—a signal too human to be silenced, too dangerous to belong to anyone.
